Let's remember similar fears and uncertainities were expressed about China hosting the 2008 Olympics & in London after 2005 incident & in Madrid after the 2004 bombings, & this are major terrorism incidents, but no Europing sporting event was held off for fear of terrorism. So, what is this double standard about Africa then? I am optimistic, the African Cup of Nations will go on sucessfully. & later on the Year, the World Cup soccer tournament in Johansberg, South Africa.
