Hollywood's wild child has signed up as an artistic adviser to fashion house Emanuel Ungaro

Want to know the real Lindsay Lohan? Check out her latest clothing range.

Hollywood's wild child recently signed up with fashion house Emanuel Ungaro as an artistic adviser to add pizzazz to the ageing fashion brand. Her first collection will be unveiled on October 4 and it's one she says is very close to her heart.

"I think working with Ungaro it's more personal for me," she told Reuters in Singapore, where she'll be hosting a three-day music concert that coincides with the country's Formula One race.

"It's kind of more about who I am and what I want to put out there in terms of what people wear and different styles. And what I wear in films means a lot to the character and what people take from the character."

Over the past two years, Lohan's creative endeavors have been eclipsed by scandals, nightclub antics and drug problems. The 23-year-old was briefly jailed in 2007 after being convicted of drink driving and cocaine possession, and made to wear an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet.

But she said she's been dealing with headlines for such a long time, that she doesn't let them get in the way of her work.

"I'm pretty numb to everything that gets said and goes on. I'm not going to say the paparazzi don't get annoying, when I, you know, just want that alone time. But it's not that bad. I don't really pay attention to it, in all honesty," she said.

Lohan loves to shop and her previous fashion ventures have included a line of leggings that drew mixed reviews from fashionistas.

And, like a true fashionista, Lohan arrived almost two hours -- or shall we say fashionably? -- late for media interviews.

Lingerie chic, peacock-blue mermaid dresses, lots of sequins
and rhinestones and ... 1980s power suits. We saw them at the
fashion shows earlier this year, and judging from the
autumn/winter haute couture shows in Paris, they are here to
stay.

Armani's version of the tiny waist/big shoulder suit
featured peaked shoulders -- the type that slope upwards like
the roof of a Chinese pagoda. He showed them earlier this year
in an Asian-inspired collection; this time, they lifted up
silver, grey or black jackets with glittery baubles as buttons.
Slouchy trousers or shimmering skirts and killer stilettos
completed the boardroom-predator look.

In the front row, Cate Blanchett, Mafalda von Hessen and
other female visitors bravely displayed pagoda shoulders off the
catwalk. Sharp pagoda shoulders were also spotted at Stephane
Rolland and even Christian Lacroix, who put on a reduced show
due to his financial problems.

Whether this is the fashion world's response to the tough
economic climate, a play on the sharp shoulders of skinny models
or simply one designer's whim that was picked up by the others
is anyone's guess. Just don't expect it to go away anytime soon.

You've seen them on the silver screen, and now Oscar-winners Russell Crowe, Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett and Geoffery Rush may soon be starring in a letter box near you after their homeland Australia recognised their achievements by putting them on postage stamps.

The 55 cent (36 U.S. cent) stamps, which went on sale on Thursday, bear pictures of the four Australian Hollywood stars and are part of Australia Post's celebrations for the January 26
national day, Australia Day

"The four Academy Award winners were named the 2009 Australian Post Australian Legends in recognition of the outstanding contributions they have made to Australian
entertainment and culture," managing director Graeme John said in a statement.

In addition to their Oscar gold, the stars will also be presented with a 24-carat gold replica of
their stamp in recognition of the honour, the statement added.

Shine on...

Yeoh, who turned 46 on Tuesday, was escorted on stage by Fraser, who jokingly wished her: "Happy 19th birthday, it's been well done!" After licking cake off his fingers, Fraser told reporters that he was an especially happy man. "I am the luckiest man in Japan to be sitting between the two most beautiful women in existence," he said as an amused Yeoh and Leong looked on.

"The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" is the third in a series of box office hits about adventurer Rick O' Connell, played by Fraser, who seems to always run afoul of power-hungry mummies. Yeoh, who rose to prominence in Hong Kong action flicks and gained wide recognition as a Bond girl in 1997's 007 spy movie "Tomorrow Never Dies", portrays a Chinese sorceress who puts a curse on an ancient emperor only to see him rise from the dead after 2,000 years to seek revenge.

U.S. critics have hailed Yeoh's performance as one of the few bright spots of the movie.

Since making a public appearance in the Japanese capital on Monday, the 34-year-old Welsh-born performer has been asked by reporters about the allegations, which he has already denied after spending several hours at a London police station last week before being released without charge.

"It's a private matter," he said at a red carpet event for the Batman movie which has smashed box office records in North America. And even though reporters had been told to focus their questions on the movie by the organisers of a Tokyo press conference, a nervous looking Bale still got queried by a Japanese journalist who wanted to know if Bale was "okay" following the allegations.

"It's a private matter," he said again. Maybe this time people will believe him.
