Thank you so much, Lesley, for your continued reports detailing Bono's current trip to Africa.

They provide us with a link to a very important event - an event which has the potential to save the lives of millions of the world's poorest people.

Please continue your insightful and thorough reports as Bono continues his "journey of equality" in Africa.

And BONO, ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE THAN YOU IMAGINE and MUCH MORE LOVED THAN YOU CAN EVER KNOW!

You are bringing Hope and Renewed Strength to millions of the world's poorest people.

ALWAYS ONE, debbie

Hallo Bono,

congrats on your hard work. I think what you're doing it's something really good but as you say all this will not be totally solved. I think G8 are busy with other economic problems (China)at the moment, i dunno if they would be helpful. A way to help africans it's building factories and companies on place, giving jobs...you know what i mean since Edun saved a Lesotho factory.
We can help buying those products (Red?).
Calling entrepreneurs to help africa (building companies/factories) it's a good strathegy. Maybe the only one...i repeat, i see politicians busy with something else. Good luck.

p.s. i'm italian, from Rome. Did you get a reply from Berlusconi or Prodi about the italian aid to Africa? You really need a big luck with them.

See ya

good work BONO!
africa is entangled in a conondrum. full of poverty, suffering, disease and not to mention ethnic conflits.... ethnic conflicts have displaced more than 9.5 million africans and over a million have been slaughtered and massacered. If this scale of destruction and fighting was in Europe, then people would be calling it World War III with the entire world rushing to report, provide aid, mediate and otherwise try to diffuse the situation. africa is beeing largely ignored!
WHY??

thanks to great stars like bono. we hope things will change soon

Thanx Leslie for these reports. . . .

Bono's layed-back style can put the whole world at ease. we're the ones who are a mess!

The hope and value he's dispensing liberally on thes people is priceless. it's the same sort of hope and value he gifts us fans with too, but these folkss need it now, and just as well, and need it to live, not just live well. he's the best advertisment for the The Global Fund there could ever be, and we here in the west need to busy ourselves with the campaign for ONE for the goals to be met by 2008!

stay close, keep blogging, thanx so much, please give him our appreciation too!
