Poll: Does Nike’s new Tiger Woods ad help his image?
One the eve of the Masters, Nike aired a television commercial featuring Tiger Woods. The black-and-white spot shows Woods looking directly into the camera while the voice of his late father Earl Woods, in an older recording, speaks in the background, asking “I want to find out what your thinking was, I want to find out what your feelings are, and did you learn anything?” Tiger does not speak in the ad. Very creepy to hear the voice of Tiger’s late father in the ad.
As if his infidelity, lies and general disrespect of his family and his fans weren’t bad enough, we can now add his willingness to allow the exploitation of his dead father by a corporate sponsor. It doesn’t get much lower. This guy is completely devoid of integrity and values.
Tiger was, is and will continue to be the Worlds number one player. That will continue until Tiger allows that to change.Does it matter what we the public think…heck no!! What Tiger did off the greens has nothing to do with what he does on the green. Its really none of our business.
Crazy to hear his father asking him those questions… apparently old Mr. Woods should have been asking himself those very questions, as stories have surfaced about his drinking problems. The whole thing feels gross and way off. Tiger and Nike deserve each other, with papa Woods in there, too, it’s perfect – money money money.
the add is almost as sick as Tiger Woods. Yuck.
