It turns out a jet had to land yesterday, after one of the doors fell off the Fokker shortly after departure.

Thankfully, nobody aboard the Fokker 100 was injured.  Also thankfully, nobody was injured by the door, which crashed to earth near a supermarketHere’s the story:

Not the same incident… Investigators search through the wreckage of a TAM airlines Fokker-100 plane after an explosion tore a hole in the fuselage during a routine flight enroute to Sao Paulo in 1997. A passenger was sucked out and fell to his death following the blast at the rear of the plane and six others were treated for minor injuries.
