Let’s go for safety - it could save us some money…

Sales of children’s car seats are expected to jump this weekend in the UK, and one retailer says its sales have already doubled.  This is because:

a) Mid-September is a very sentimental time for mums and dads in the UK.
b) An early snowstorm is expected to cause chaos and havoc on the country’s highways.
c) A new law governing child seat restraints takes effect on Monday,  mandating hefty fines for violators.

If you were suspicious and cynical enough to choose answer c, congratulations. Yes, there’s nothing like a looming financial penalty to make folks stop and think about how much they love those children who depend on them for safety and well-being. Here’s the story:crash200.jpg
