Links between begin overweight and heart disease, links between activity and heart disease sure. Second, you should probably consider the genetics of the people in the area. Both my parents were born in Ukraine, and I dont believe that I can even remember a meal at my grandparents house that didnt involve multiple meat dishes and plenty of sour cream and butter. Ukrainians actually have a word for a meal without sour cream or butter.
