The Evangelical Christian “Hell House” performs for the first time in New York City, hoping to frighten people with depictions of “modern-day evils” like abortion, drugs, and so on.
This approach may not work on New Yorkers, who are a pretty jaded bunch and even have their own neighborhood named Hell’s Kitchen. Katie Juhl reports:
