Jupitermedia CEO Alan Meckler isn’t commenting on a report in New York Post that he’s involved in talks to sell his company to bigger rival Getty Images.
We reached Meckler on his cellphone on Wednesday morning and asked if the report was accurate. His response: “I wouldn’t comment on rumors.”
The reporter responded by pointing out that it wouldn’t exactly be “rumor” to Meckler, who would have first-hand knowledge of such talks (or the lack thereof).
Meckler’s response: “It’s a rumor.”
It was a short conversation.
