If you fell from a sixth-floor balcony you’d probably die, unless you landed on something like maybe a huge cushion, or a truckload of feathers, or, in the case of one woman, a seven-inch-thick pile of excrement.
I know, it sounds like something 10-year-old boys would make up, but according to a newspaper in China, the woman landed where workers had just emptied a septic tank which had been filling up for some time. The woman suffered only slight injuries, the newspaper said. Here is the story:

I don’t know which one is worse…the 6-story fall, or landing in the pile of poop. I would most likely die either way. The bleach bath and mouthwash afterwards would probably do it.
