Ahmadinejad referred to a quote made by Khomeini. Khomeini had said that the "regime" in Jerusalem (Israel) should be vanquished from the "pages of history".

Is that really so hard to translate?

Ahmadinejad also said , in the same speech, that Saddam needs to be defeated too. How come you never quote that.</description>
