Murdoch slips past his own

As reporters surrounded the typically tight-lipped Google co-founder Sergey Brin for a quick chat, Rupert Murdoch — probably tired of not-answering the same question about his $5 billion bid for Dow Jones — took the opportunity to slip behind the press pack, which included one of his employees, New York Post entertainment business writer Peter Lauria.

“Grilling you?” Murdoch asked Brin, smiling, waving at Brin.

As Murdoch walked away Lauria asked: “I’m Peter Lauria at the New York Post. Can I come talk to you?”

Murdoch shakes his head and darts out of the Sun Valley Inn corridor.

Brin looks at Lauria: “I think you’re fired.”
