Millons of Harry Potter fans are waiting to get their hands on the seventh and final book in the boy wizard series this weekend.
The fate of Potter and his rival Lord Voldemort is a strictly kept secret, with the book “Harry Potter and the Deathy Hallows” stored under lock and key in warehouses across the world until a high-profile launch on July 21.
Author J.K. Rowling has given few hints about what happens to Potter and his Hogwarts friends.
But she has revealed that at least two main characters will die and that the word “scar” is no longer the last word in the book.
For those who cannot wait until Saturday, we are inviting readers to send in their own version of the last paragraph.
How do you think the book should end?

RE:”Rowling angered as NYT reviews last Potter”
“She likened the events in the United States to the Boston Tea Party, a 1773 protest by American colonists against Britain.”
Do you think your readers are idiots? Why do you have to explain the Boston tea party? I am highly offended and I think your readers should be as well.
- Posted by VeniceI’m a reader, I’m English and I’d never heard of the Boston Tea Party. I’m also not an idiot (although my wife may claim otherwise).
Explaining what it was inspired me to read through Wikipedia and find out more. Well done, thank you.
Venice should realise that the rest of the world doesnt revolve around America. History does in fact extend across the actual world (thats the bit you need a passport for) and applies even further back than 1493 (thats when CC put the key in your front door and said “Nice! I’ll take it!”.
I know, this is a SHOCKING revelation. Maybe I should have warned you to sit down.
