Princess Diana dubbed Camilla Parker Bowles the “Rottweiler”, and blamed her for the break-up of her marriage to Prince Charles, telling a TV reporter ”there were three of us in this marriage, so it was a bit crowded”.
At one stage it looked as though the Duchess of Cornwall would attend Diana’s memorial service on the 10th anniversary of the princess’ death.
But Camilla, who married Charles in 2005, has pulled out amid reports that she did not feel comfortable attending.
Did she make the right decision? Would her presence have diverted attention from the purpose of the occasion, as she said?
Or does Camilla have a legitimate claim to attend having been invited by her stepsons, William and Harry?

Is Camilla not Catholic? Andrew Parker Bowles, her first husband was a Catholic and so are her children. How does this play with her being future Queen.

Prince Charles should not marry her either because his sons do not deserve to have a stepmother who contributed to their mother’s unhappiness and death.
It was a shame that The Queen let her marry Prince Charles and it would be a shame if she entered the church.
