Who replaces Gonzales?

Posted by: Leah Eichler

The sudden departure of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales spawned speculation about who might serve as a suitable successor. Over half a dozen people have been mentioned as candidates, including:

-Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff

-Former Deputy Attorney General Larry Thompson

-SEC Chairman Christopher Cox

-Former Acting Attorney General George Terwilliger

-Former Solicitor General Theodore Olson

Have your say: Who do you think should replace Gonzales and why?

solicitor general THEODORE OLSON or better still a convinced and down to earth Atheist, with his brain thinking always and always with his feet on the ground.

If it’s George Bush who will nominate the next guy how about not!

Nobody would be better than anyone GWB would nominate and I mean it!
