Reuters Newsbeats from 7th June 2006
This’ll probably be the last Newsbeats track for a while as we are ending the experiment to gather our thoughts and figure out if there is a business opportunity for this service. Thanks for all the feedback, which has been 99% positive I am pleased to see – perhaps those that don’t like it don’t dare comment! A big shout to the Cellular Records crew and also the voices from Reuters video news reporters. We look forward to making more tracks, but for now here is the top news from June 7th 2006. Ciao!

No way, this can’t be the last one!!
I hope you can market this service because the format and information are highly innovative and attractive, at least for me and some friends. We are in our mid 20s and believe that this is a really cool way of attracting new radio news listeners.
Please keep up the great work and much respect for the Cellular Records crew and of course Reuters reporters.
Sincerely,

What? Did I read correctly? No Newsbeats. After listening to Newsbeats several times, our department was putting it as a link on our website and now — NO Newsbeats. “Hey! put them back the way they were”.
Come back Cellular Records-Reuters Newsbeats Team.

No news is good news;no newsBEATs, however, I might not be able to handle it! Bring it back quick! Great job cellular records- you rock! ; )

OK, I was introduced to this a little late, but I love this…I will anxiously await the return of NewsBeats–Us ‘A.D.D.ers’ need news too!!!
I WANT MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry I just can’t see the point of all this. What does it add to – say – the conflict in Lebanon to mix in a little elevator music? Reutersw is a great news-gathering organisation, and so what’s the need to exploit every possible mode of transmission? The podcasts are wonderful and really give us an extra choice in receiving news, but I can easily live without the Newsbeats, thanks.
