The light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak?
Do you ever wake up in the morning with some puzzling itch or minor pain that wasn’t there when you went to bed? That happened last weekend to a prison inmate in Pakistan, who awoke with, how to put this delicately, an entire lightbulb in his anus. Imagine his surprise.
Doctors removed the bulb in a 90-minute operation yesterday. They said getting it out intact was far preferable to the alternative. Meanwhile, the prisoner’s story is that he has no idea how the thing got there in the first place. Read all about it:
