Human rights protestors express outrage at the Chinese tradition of human-testing of dog cosmetics and food delicacies. With the world’s largest population, China is experimenting with new ways to create a labor force to employ millions of migrant workers. Coolbaby Pet Restaurant in Beijing tests food samples before serving to their distinguished canine clientele.

Bone Appetit! Beijing’s first especially-for-pets restaurant, Coolbaby, serves up a smorgasbord of canine treats, but owners do all the “ordering.” Dogs owners select food for their pets at Coolbaby Pet Restaurant in Beijing February 20, 2006. And talk about pampered: The restaurant also offers after-meal walks to all its diners.
