It seems an international quest is being launched for historical heirs to the throne of England. Anybody who can’t trace their family tree back to 1066 need not apply. I think that means at least your great, great grandparents, or maybe even beyond that. Ads in British, U.S., Australian, German and Norwegian newspapers are asking, ”Might your ancestors have claimed the English throne?”This is all mired in history, and involves William the Conqueror and the Battle of Hastings and stuff like that.  Bottom line is, if you’ve got an old suit of armor or lance or something in your attic that says Edgar Aetheling on it, don’t throw it away – you may be a winner.  Here’s the story:  Boogie Knights… Knights joust during a medieval jousting tournament recreated at London’s Tower of London, August 19, 2006.  REUTERS/Stephen Hird
