Oh Canada! That bloody ad again…
Okay, first the controversial Australian tourism commercial was banned by Britain because it used the word “bloody,” and now Canada has vetoed a scene in the thing because a character lures visitors by saying We’ve poured you a beer. This is turning into one of those things where the spot is getting so much free publicity the Australians probably won’t have to spend another bloody penny buying time for it.If you haven’t yet seen it, you can watch the whole thing here — but if you’re in Canada, please close your eyes during the beer part. Where the bloody hell is common sense? People say bloody, they drink beer.. I just said “bloody” 2.. no.. 3 times just now.. And when I get home, I will have a beer………
