Slacker cats is a funny show. Probably the only show with any real humour left on anything from Disney.
ABC family was originally supposed to appeal to the 14+ group, and was to be called XYZ. This didn’t happen, because they were REQUIRED to keep the name “family” in the network.

It’s ABC family, not ABC kids. It’s hardly vulgar at ALL compared to what your kids will see in the real world.

Ive started watching Slacker Cats and it’s funny….The animation is also good.
I like the characters,especially Buckley and look forward to more episodes.

Love the show. My media center is set to record and I have every episode so far. The characters are classic, the story line is fresh. Hope the series is a long runner!

I think its the parents responsibility to block these shows if they dont want them to watch also its not as bad as WHose line,It’s full of bleeps and sexual enudendoes (sp?)

I am really disappointed with ABC Family! This channel is suppose to be a family channel, and it is showing programs that would normally be on ABC. I would expect ABC Family to be similar to Disney Channel, except that maybe they could make family-oriented dramas, reality shows, sitcoms etc. The only reason I watch ABC Family is because they show reruns of old TV shows. I would not watch there original programing. ABC Family use to have original programing that was passable, such as Switched. Wildfire, Greek, Kyle XY, Slacker Cats, and Lincoln Heights should be on ABC! Any adult program that Disney creates, should be on ABC. Any children, teen, or family program that is not a Disney Channel show should be on this channel. In my mind, Toon Disney, Disney Channel, and ABC Family would be the family entertainment. ABC, SOAPnet, and ESPN would be for adult entertainment. But, nope! I hope they could switch the shows over to ABC and create more family-oriented programming!

This show is very funny. I saw it last night at midnight when I couldn’t sleep. The humor is definately adult, and I think kids will not get the risque adult references. It is on at 10PM and if parents don’t want their kids to watch they can block the show or make sure their kids are in bed by then. Parents need to monitor and take responsibility for what their kids watch. The TV is not a babysitter.
