Someone talking some sense at last. We don't live near Heathrow but we do live under a flight path in Exeter. The peace and quiet has been bliss in the past week. We're fed up with hearing about the poor old travelers. They are not the bulk of the population and once upon a time if you traveled abroad you didn't hold anyone else responsible for getting you home. You went at your own risk. No-one should blame the government. For once, I wish the T.V. and radio news programmers would spare a thought for the people who have to put up with the noise and pollution from planes. May be now a politician with some sense and vision will say that it's time to stop expansion. Hooray! Someone talking some sense at last.
