The public relations campaign has paid off for Buffet, but just because he lives in Omaha in this age of technology, does not mean he plays any less hard than any banker for Goldman Sachs. it is refreshing to watch the media turn the spotlight on the Berkshire derivatives portfolio, after Buffet has called such transactions weapons of mass destruction. It will be interesting to see if his loyalists will want answers about his derivatives positions, or if they will give him a pass on this.
