As a supporter of NPR from its inception, I feel betrayed by the ineptness of the management. I do not enjoy hearing the inane programming the network produces to balance its presentations and placate those who protest its "liberal bias," but I do not want to see the liberal version of Fox News either; that just further divides us. I can go next door and talk to the neighbors in the Upper West Side of Manhattan to reinforce my ideas. We do need to face the fact that died-in-the-wool and rabid conservatives will never listen to NPR except to pick apart its programs. What about simply reducing the extravagant programming, concentrate on new as such, and tell the cons you've cut back?

Obama thinks that federal funding for NPR is OK. Duh! NPR supports the far left. I would like to think that my tax dollars are not used to support them. Let stinky 'ol BO give them his own money, thank you.

The scandal was not really a surprise to listeners who have been vigilent in spotting the increasing biases on NPR. PBS has become the same. They cater to whoever donates money. And the most egregious anchor, like Ray Suarez proudly proclaims his willingness to be biased. During fund drives, Ray Suarez always says, "We only have viewers to satisfy." Yeah Ray: Viewer donors can tell you to say anything as long as they donate enough money, and of course Ray's reports always cater to Ray's egregious biases also.
