They’re not happy paying the $1 per person cover fees, but are scared of the effect leaving Open Table may have on their customer base. We don’t charge cover fees at Reservation Genie. All restaurants need is an alternative solution and all patrons needs is a better rewards program. With web-based models like ours neither are too hard to create. Pandora, being a free service, is not like to be viewed as expensive. And it’s hard to improve on their technology.
