8 years after the debacle, not one banker has been put behind bars! Instead, the banks just paid billions in fines to the Obama administration and continued to operate. Many Americans lost their savings in those banks that went under or absorbed by larger banks. The worst injustice done by the current administration was to fine the successor banks that took over the failed banks on the “suggestions” of the administration!
It’s not breaking up the banks that’s going to ensure that the US won’t go through another financial crisis but the punitive nature of mismanaging the banks that will endure that the bankers will not deliberately screw up!
