One- the patent wars squashing unique but incremental development coupled with fortress style corporate structure with zero transparency. Two- a desensitization to new tech as markets get almost super saturated by the same players. Three- Governments inability to respond fast enough to technical changes or world events. All this creates an unbalance with individuals left with ideas that cant be perused and lives put on hold.

Governments need to force transparency, Corporations need to begin a period of spinning off rather than merging. An incubator small start up environment needs to be created supported by government. As for world events individuals need to find courage not to close in but reach out.
