NetSpend Holdings rev outlook disappoints, shares fall

BANGALORE, Nov 10 (Reuters) – Prepaid debit card company
NetSpend Holdings Inc (NTSP.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) forecast weak revenue for the
year after posting a 78 percent jump in profit in its first
reported quarter as a public company.

“They (NetSpend) are having to overcome the fact that they
have some products unwinding, and one product that’s having a
temporary setback,” analyst Gil Luria of Wedbush Securities
said.

Green Dot Q3 profit beats Street, gives upbeat FY view

BANGALORE, Nov 3 (Reuters) – Prepaid debit card company
Green Dot Corp (GDOT.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) reported a third-quarter profit that
topped Wall Street estimates, boosted by a rise in card and
interchange revenue, and forecast an 80 percent increase in
gross dollar volume for 2010.

The top player in the prepaid debit card space also said it
expects adjusted total operating revenue of $370 million and
$380 million for the full year.

Western Union ups profit outlook as US volumes rise

BANGALORE, Oct 26 (Reuters) – Western Union (WU.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), the
world’s largest payment-transfer company, raised its full-year
outlook and reported a strong quarterly profit as transactions
in the United States rose, reversing last year’s trend.

The company, which operates through a network of about
430,000 agent locations in 200 countries and territories, had
suffered during the recession as consumers sent less money
globally, but had been on a recovery path this year.

FIS profit beats, revenue falls short of estimates

BANGALORE, Oct 26 (Reuters) – Fidelity National Information
Services Inc’s (FIS.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) quarterly profit beat estimates but
revenue narrowly missed as its Payment Solutions business
continued its downward trend, pulling its shares down 3
percent.

The payment processor said it was exploring strategic
alternatives for its item processing and remittance services
unit in Brazil, including a possible sale of the unit.
