Congratulations Matthias Steiner! Your story and your performance have become a permanent part of my experience. My wife and I both cheered for you and cried for you. You have become a hero not only for your country, but for everyone everywhere. When you lifted that bar to victory, and received your gold medal, we were all Team Germany fans here in Iowa City.
