Why would it matter who sits in the Senate? They all work for the same paymasters. Just as all the current lot do. Policy does not change with one Party government. That is one reason we are now breaking the longest war record formerly set by the Vietnam War.

Nothing will change, at least for the better. Plant a garden.

There is ABSOLUTELY no way ANY Republican can deny that 8 years of Republican "caring" got us into this mess- world-wide. ANY vote for a Republican in the coming election is voting to going back to the worst economic situation since the Depression, to all kinds of fraud, deception and out-right lying to the American public and a further sinking to the depths of poverty, joblessness, homelessness and all the things we are now recovering from for many more Americans. Obama has changed the direction of this country's descending economy - in record time, mind you - and has been the ONLY President to consider the welfare and "will" of the American people and not just the "rich" entities. There are a few things I would change in his administration but over all he has accomplished so much, in so little time, with the more obstructions than any other President.
Thank you - Collea-Devi

How can the Fed act? It's principle tool is monetary policy via interest rates, but those are already pretty much bottomed out. The only other tool is fiscal policy, but that's controlled by Congress, especially the House, and we know what the GOP House thinks is more important than jobs, dealing with the deficit, even though they are the ones primarily responsible for where it is today when they rubber stamped everything Dubya shoved under their noses.
