Only it’s not just about the un/underbanked anymore, esp. as mobile payments take hold. In a few years, what we call banking at the retail level will look more like what a check cashing store resembles today.

Prepaid card companies under $10 B got a critical exemption in Reg II from the interchange limits. And, it’s not just banks that are going to be writing living wills, DF mandated the Fed compel the same for non-bank financial entities as well.
