There is no comparison of Tea Party democraphics that shows them as even remotely resembling the same percentages of the American population. The Tea Party is disproportionately composed of individuals who have higher-than-average incomes, disproportionately composed of men, disproportionately composed of white people, disproportionately composed of self-identified conservatives, and disproportionately composed of self-identified Republicans.

And they are very, very sore losers.

THere is a reason that institutions of higher learning produce studies that irritate the right. And it isn’t “liberal” bias, it’s reality based bias.

A conservative’s definition of diversity: People of all walks of life are welcome to hate all the many diverse things that conservatives hate.

Isn’t it odd that conservatives must sign a pledge to a set of core principles these days? Now THAT’s “diversity.”

There is no comparison of the demographics of the Tea Party that shows roughly the same percentages as they exist in the population. The Tea Party is disproportionately composed of individuals who have higher-than-average incomes, disproportionately male, disproportionately white, and disproportionately composed of self-identified conservatives, and disproportionately composed of self-identified Republicans.

And they are very, very sore losers.

Isn’t it amusing how they will claim to be unbaised, but every outcome they produce is pro-democrat, pro-liberal and pro-Obama…….

A liberals definition of diversity: a group of LIBERALS of different races, genders and sexual orientations!

Isn’t it odd that they do not consider different political beleifs to be included in “diversity”……

I recall seeing a comparison of the demographics of the Tea Party compared to the Demographics of the American population. Groups were represented in roughly the same percentages as they exist in the population.

I am sure these “researchers” avoided doing there study in New Hampshire, since the founder of the tea party group there is black!

That would not have gotten them a “fair and imparital” outcome that matched their ideology!
