		<description>The problem for GM is that Germany does not care one whit about the long term viability of the parent company.  Germany only cares about Germany.  If GM has to give up their rights to global brands and technology that have nothing to do with its German operation, Germany does not care, and their business will suffer.

GM should stick to their guns.  The Germans will never give in, but they may convince the Canadians and Russians to give in....</description>
