Wind farn are a good thind as they produce green energy to the surrounding properties. I am looking for a property for sale in Golders Green and the wind farm project did not affect the propertie values there.

Two points from the report, under 'Conclusions' page 75:

1. "The result is the most comprehensive and
data-rich analysis to date on the potential impacts of wind projects on nearby property values."

2. "On the data and analysis presented in
this report, no evidence is found that home prices surrounding wind facilities are consistently, measurably, and significantly affected by either the view of wind facilities or the distance of the home to those facilities. Although the analysis cannot dismiss the possibility that individual or small numbers of homes have been or could be negatively impacted, if these impacts do exist, they are either too small and/or too infrequent to result in any widespread and consistent
statistically observable impact."

In fact, this is also consistent with reports in Britain and elsewhere.

Maybe you cannot read! Of the 7500 homes studied less than 1.5% were within a mile of a wind site some were 10 miles away. Of the homes that were close the average loss in value was 5.5%, or for me £15,000!This is worthy of the B.ull#### W.ith E.very A.nswer people

What else could be expected of the DOE who just gave $500 million of our tax dollars in direct grants to wind developers, mostly foreign llcs. And wasted another $500,000 for this bogus study that anyone with a brain and any common sense can see is total BS.Most property around wind factories, even proposed wind factories go down or don't sell at all.
