The increased CO2 emission caused by burning fossil fuels is leading to Global warming, while massive deforestation has reduced the amount of carbon capture on earth. As a result, the Earth’s average temperature rose about 1.1° F in the 20th century

It is predicted that by 2100, average temperature will increase by about 5.4° – 9° F. This will cause further decrease in polar ice caps, raise sea levels by at least 25 meters (82 feet), endanger several species of animal life and submerge many coastal areas and human habituated islands.

All of us can create a more sustainable, cleaner and safer world by making wiser energy choices.
