BMW North America’s CEO Tom Purves tells Fred Katayama the automaker expects “sustained success” and s not too worried about competition from rival Mercedes-Benz. Unlike Mercedes which sells cars at mid and high-end price points, Purves says BMW’s focus on making only premium cars gives it an edge.
