Annie: If you can't beat them, join them! Being a father of 4, hard working family man it truly sucks to only make enough too pay the bills. If I could get support from Uncle Sam to help with groceries, or free education I sure would! It seems the only way to get ahead these days is to seek help from other sources, but it's getting harder and harder. I don't see a problem with people on the system who really need it- what I really see a problem with are these illegals who come here and get EVERYTHING handed to them.

I'm not happy with the Republicans! They've got no
backbone. This banking situation should have been
investigated before the bill was signed.
Our Family has NEVER taken advantage of our government!
Yet we have to pay for all "the thugs" who live off the
government because they're too lazy to work. God help
us! How can we, the honest people, ever get ahead?

The problem is that the people suffering are not the people on Wall Street..They have massive nest eggs and/or golden parachutes...Every normal American is starting to suffer now...I own a small Cabinet business, and as of last week consumer spending/confidence has just collapsed...Retirees have lost their life's savings and now have to rely on Social Security alone...This is not right...Something has to be done to take care of this problem....

Maybe Congress should vote to send jars of soil to Wall Street as the bankers and finance workers there are obviously way too busy making and losing money to dwell on their mortality and just throwing more money at them is more likely to blind them to other harsh realities of life and the concept of social justice.
