		<description>Is Obama an Apostate?
By all accounts, Obama was raised as a Muslim, though he says he “didn’t inhale”. He recounts his conversion to Christianity in Chicago by his “former pastor”, Rev. Jeremiah Wright. It’s rather troubling that he was guided into Christianity by someone having Rev. Wright’s apparent view of that religion. However, more troubling is his apparently eager acceptance by both Arab leaders and the “Arab street”.
I understand that the Quran would label him by his conversion to be Apostate. Apparently, under Islamic common law that would call for the death penalty. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apostate#In_Islam] One wonders, in that case, why there is no outrage in Muslim counties over our possible election of an Apostate as President. The simplest answer would appear to be that they don&#039;t believe for a minute that a Muslim would ever actually convert and advertise the fact. After all, Louis Farrakhan indorses him as the Messiah. On the other hand, they could look with glee at someone who is a Muslim tricking the United States into electing him President.
