For readers interested in information on the CIEE International Faculty Development Seminar (IFDS), ‘Religious Diversity and Conflict in France’. This seminar incorporates talks by major scholars of religion and society in France with a focus on daily life (schools, hospitals, prisons, and the army) through the perspective of the chaplain. In 2009, four U.S. chaplains representing various religions were able to participate in the seminar faculty group due to the support of the U.S Embassy in Paris. Another seminar on religious diversity in France will run in the summer of 2010. Please check http://www.ciee.org/IFDS in early July for 2010 IFDS listings.

i wonder if they are under the same restrictions that christian chaplains are under in the USA forces.they cannot pray in the name of jesus he is outlawed.
