The latter is a murder. The term “honor killing” should never be used, because killing is something farmers do to livestock. The term for killing humans, outside of armed conflict, is murder, period.

Similarly, the term for “forced marriage” is kidnapping and rape.

These families should be prosecuted for kidnapping and rape. That would stop this horrible practice.
