What the Pope says or does is irrelevant at this point.

You can tell a tree by its fruit. The Church is obviously rotting from the top down and from the inside out.

It will eventually destroy itself and the world will be a better place for it.

@Irish victims accused the pope of evading the question of Vatican responsibility in the long-awaited, eight-page letter. “We feel the letter falls far short of addressing the concerns of the victims,” Maeve Lewis of the group One in Four told Reuters. She said it focused too narrowly on Irish Catholic leaders without scrutinizing the role of the Vatican”.

I think no matter what the Church does, anti-catholics will never be satisfied because what they want is for the Pope himself to destroy the Church. Or I doubt if the victims themselves are the one saying this? Are they really victims? Why not file their complaints in the courts?
