until and only when does Islam become a truly free religion where joining or leaving is an option, and the ability to ask questions of the faith is accepted should they be recognised as a true religion not a caste sytem with truly horrifying retributions. Koran or not, a death penalty passed by an ecclesiastical court with no recognised authority, that is considered to be accountable outside the country where any such penalty is passed, and can be carried out by any means at any time is barbarian.
