I ran this story on my blog, with the permission of my friend, and named both parties. Although the bishop involved is fully aware of this, nobody has denied the accuracy of the report.

The English Anglo-Catholics are not theologically in favour of same sex relationships whilst opposing female ordination for theological reasons. They are, let’s face it, just being pragmatic and acting from self-interest. Which is a relatively polite way of saying that they are hypocrites.
