If not one person, perhaps an internationally elected body? Do global problems not require global solutions? With a fully realized global authority not yet experienced in humanity's history, I think the idea needs its due consideration before being completely rejected. 'Nations' were at one point in human history unimaginable, yet today... With a society that is increasingly global in scope, is it not reasonable to consider a “supranational authority” of some kind?
