Comments on: London Anglican cleric quits over “occupy” protest at St Paul’s cathedral Religion, faith and ethics Sat, 23 Apr 2016 23:25:07 +0000 hourly 1 By: ChrissJ Sun, 30 Oct 2011 14:14:24 +0000 Oh, the Church is worried about the loss of 20,000 pounds a day ? How about the MILLIONS of people who live in poverty and loss EVERY DAY? Here is a thought: The 99% are staying, they are not going to go away, they can’t go away because they have no where to go! CEOs crown themselves king and take annual pay in the millions while working mothers struggle to feed their children. The church is saying out of their mouths ‘bless you, go in peace’ but what does it DO to promote social justice? Any God fearing cleric would be outside on the steps LEADING the 99% to the government buildings demanding social justice – living wages for workers, better opportunities at education, jobs, and housing. Increased health care for all people. The SLAVES have woken up all over the planet, and the 1% best do the right thing to help everyone.
