My mother's expression changed to a look of "What?". She translated to me how priests are allowed a "girlfriend" however she can not live in the same town that he resides. ALSO, if the priest should father any children from this relationship, the Church will support up to 2 children. I assume this is not just in Germany, most likely Europe wide. In the USA? Another cover-up of this powerful men's club?
