State Churches are by their very nature in danger of diluting the power of the Holy Spirit working within. Scripture clearly points out a believer cannot serve/worship/honor/love two masters. It is the responsibility of the Christian Church to speak truth to secular power (Bart amended) then let the power and will of God construct the final destiny. The ecomony of Yahweh is still deep and rich enough to fund that with he commissions through his call on his holy people. Give unto Cesar what is cesar’s.
