It’s tough being a famous pop star. You get up late, have to keep changing your phone number and then there are those pesky summons to take random drug tests.
Britney Spears’ lawyers asked a Los Angeles judge on Thursday to give the court-monitored singer six hours instead of one hour’s notice to submit to random drug and alcohol tests required in her child custody legal battle.
Brit, it seems, has been woken up as early as 8 am by the drug labs, and that’s proving a challenge. “You’re not a pop star with a Number One album”, Spears’ lawyer Anne Kiley told the sceptical judge.
Lawyers for Spears and K-Fed have until Tuesday to work out a compromise arrangement. Meanwhile, Spears was ordered to tell her lawyer immediately when she changes her phone number so the drug testers can reach her.
Seems Spears changes her number as often as her hairstyle. Apparently it’s because she is famous and people are always getting access to her personal information, Kiley said.

As a mother I don’t feel sorry for Britney. A real mother would do anything to preserve and protect her child and/or children. I would respect her more if she came out and said ‘you know what, rite now is not the best time in my life and I do think the children will be better of with there father as of now…’. She has all this money (780,000+ a month). She doesn’t invest it or as least put something away for her kids and/or her future. NO SAVINGS! CRAZY! If or when her career flops she’ll be back living with her mother, which by the way I feel sorry for. She picked a loser for a husband who will be on easy street for the rest of his life….whom by the way had 2 or more children from a previous relationship. After all this I hope Brit proves me and the world wrong, if not for her than for her children.

THINK..she divorced a man who was never with the kids and always out partying on her money. He quickly realized that his money train was moving on. The only way he can survive (other than work at McDonalds) is to confuse the court enough to get and keep at least 50% custody which means child support from Brit. K-Fed never had any problem with Britney’s parenting until she threw him out and cut him off. His alimony ends next week.
K-Fed slander of her began with claimes that Brit was using and addicted to cocaine and meth (the fired body guard made lame attempts to back up K-Fed) Since then she has passed all random drug tests taken. This began at the begining of October about 5 weeks ago. She was ordered to submit to 2 random drug tests per week. Her lawyer said she has taken and passed 10 of the fourteen tests. His lawyer claims she has taken and passed 6 random tests. There are no failed drug tests and when she missed the early morning calls, she had herself tested at another lab to prove that there are no failed drug tests.
An addict to these types of drugs would be very thin and unable to pass random testing within 6 hours of the call. Add to that the fact that Brit is not very thin and eats fast food constantly. Addicts would be very thin and not likely to be running out to eat.
She shaved her head months ago when K-Fed told her that his pot smoking would show in her hair if tested. The paparazzi follow her everywhere but never catch her doing drugs. K-Fed was caught on video tape smoking pot about 2 weeks ago.
The judge has been grossly misled by K-Fed in his attempt to get money from Brit. He has placed 2 toddlers with the known druggie although I am sure K-Fed is not the person watching them.
Britney and her lawyer appear to be giving both K-Fed and the judge enough rope to hang themselves.
And …To Jeannie…..”No Savings”..do not believe what you read because you fail to understand it. Britney owns realestate (including a louisana forest)which is better than a savings account.
Best thing Britney can do is to designate one of her houses as the home the kids live in. Each parent can move in and out in accordance with their custody orders. Britney should pay all house and child expense. This will mean that K-Fed gets NO child support payments because he will have no child expense. If set up this way, K-Fed will be gone very soon because he is only interested in the money.

All of America has seen whats happening in california so unless her forest is fire proof…it isn’t the wises investment choice….still with no bonds and or savings Brit could be up the creek with no pattle.

She is also like many famous child stars before her rebelling against an wholesome,butter wouldn’t melt image and feels compelled to show she has an edge to her.
