Ukranian actress Olga Kurylenko is joining the list of Bond girls, chosen to play the love interest of 007 in the next James Bond film, which has the working title “Bond 22.”From Ursula Andress emerging from the sea in that unforgettable bikini in “Dr. No,” to Diana Rigg, Jane Seymour, Halle Berry and and most recently Eva Green in “Casino Royale,” the Bond girls epitomize glamor — and sometimes danger.
For an actress the role can help fast-track a career. Kurylenko, 28, recently co-starred alongisde Timothy Olyphant in “Hitman.” Another Bond newcomer, 21-year-old British actress Emma Arterton, currently appears in the remake of schoolgirl comedy “St. Trinian’s.”
The two hardly big names — yet. But they are both young and beautiful and certain to rekindle that age-old debate of who is the best Bond girl. What does it take to be the top Bond girl and who, really, is the one for all time?
