All little girls grow up, and in recent years Mary-Kate Olsen — one-half of the acting Olsen twins who first gained fame as infants on TV show “Full House” – has been pushing her way into adulthood in ever more maturing roles on television (”Weeds”), in movies (”New York Minute”) and, of course, as fodder for tabloid gossip pages.

At the Sundance Film Festival this past Friday, Mary-Kate, 21, showed fans her sexy side in new movie, “The Wackness,” playing a young New Yorker who on a boozy, pot-smoking night makes out with Sir Ben Kingsley, 64, in a phone booth. For her legions of fans who’ve watched her grow up in front of their eyes, it is another leap into ever more adult roles.

“I was a little nervous, but he was so sweet and so kind,” Mary-Kate said about shooting the scene. “It was fun! I almost pulled off his hairpiece.” She was speaking at the question-and-answer session after the movie’s premiere.

OK, is it just me or does the prospect of seeing Mary Kate make out with Grandpa sound revolting to anyone else? This will ensure that movie will NEVER be shown at my house…
